Yo! People! Help!

My mothers got an xps which is like $1500+ and recently her screen randomly goes blank, it has something to do with the backlight, as i can see in brightlight the background and mouse etc. so its still on just not lit. I move the mouse press buttons etc and the screen will not light up again, i restarted and it came on fine, but after some time it randomly does it again.

Brightness is set to max. Anything i can try? Change settings? Update?
Let me know please!

Thanks
Customx3

Sorry, I just assumed. You could always crack it open and check the connections and condition of the ribbon cable. Otherwise check ebay for a screen assembly.
