Looking for 120hz Monitor

Thread Starter
So for the past week I've been looking into what to get for my new computer setup and now that I've gotten to the part about getting a new monitor I have no idea which 120hz monitor is best. All the reviews I've seen for the Viewsonic 120hz and the Alienware Optx 23" have been very mixed. Many people say there's more input lag than alienware or viewsonic said there was. Also many people are reporting ghosting and many other issues. I'm basically just looking for the best possible 120hz monitor, and I'll be willing to spend up to 400$ as from what I've heard it's incredibly nice to game on 120hz. Thanks in advance

There is a BenQ 24" 120Hz LED Monitor that I've had my eye on for a while, but funds haven't permitted me to get it. I would look into that if i was you.

I've got this one LG W2363d 120hz ...

here is a good reviews most of what they say here is legit. good and bad:

http://3dvision-blog.com/review-of-t...aming-monitor/

Depends on what you want it for ... fast refresh, 3d gaming?

I bought this for the fast refresh rate. FPS gaming..

Keep in mind it's a TN panel so off angle viewing isn't so great.

PM me if you have any questions.

I've got the Alienware 120hz monitor and have enjoyed it thus far. The only things I have against it are the typical things you'll find of most any TN panel, viewing angles and backlight bleed. Also the monitor is very bright, so the colors can seem washed out at times.

However I haven't noticed any ghosting or input lag.

Here is a good review I found before I pulled the trigger on this monitor:

I'm going to buy a Samsung S23A950D, which is currently not available in Spain. There is also a 27" version, but I prefer having a higher pixel density. The only "problem" (not really a problem... depends on personal taste) is that it doesn't support 3D Vision, it uses TriDef instead, for compatiblity reasons (works with Nvidia and AMD gfx cards).

Regardless, I don't like 3D, so im buying it for the design and the 120Hz.

This one looks really nice, too bad it's so expensive.
