Overclocked 6950/6970 vs Overclocked 560Ti - Page 2

Hey man, I just did a ton of comparisons yesterday between the 6950 2GB and the 560 ti. I'll post em up later. Only issue is that where I was at, only had access to 1280x1024 monitor...so not the best benching, but did 3DMark11, Vantage, 06, Heaven 2.5, Lost Planet 2, FFXIV, Crysis 2. I also did stock clocks and overclocked. These are both ASUS DCII cards.

thanks can't wait to see this. What were the overclocked specs of each?
I think a 560 can be overclocked past 6950 stock performance pretty easily, but probably never past oc'd 6950 performance given similar type cards...ie air-cooled for both. If you did get a 560 to beat a 6950, you would have spent more money on a golden sample type card or exotic cooling. Of course, this is a general thing. The 560 will win in certain games and Ethe situations, but the 6950 should be better for the vast majority of games and benches.

Can the 2GB SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950 Dirt3 Edition be overclocked to a 6970? If so how exactly do I go about doing that exactly?
