I have seen this comment everywhere and it completely ignores that the game has two parts. PVE and PVP. Now I want to see one GTX560TI max out the game when you have dozens of players. My CFX5870XXX cards which are superior to the GTX560ti get crippled in multiplayer and drop to 30s at 1200p resolution maxed out. No point in spreading misinformation. I have friends with 2 GTX580s dropping badly in the PVP area.

Now with further tweaks from BioWare and better drivers gaming will be improved but to say that the GTX560TI maxes out SWTOR at 1200p or 1080 is not entirely correct.

I know that many people have problems with lag in warzones, both low fps and ability delay. Pretty frustrating when you hit an ability and it only tries to activate 3 seconds later when your target is no longer in range. I've had this problem when playing at relatives' houses with my laptop but not on my desktop at home. It's weird because the lag only happens in the Fleet and warzones, and happens even when I turn all graphics settings to minimum. I don't know what the culprit is but I don't think it's simply graphics horsepower. It's gotta be a driver issue or some networking quirk, whether on our end or the servers. PVP lag is an issue.

My game does not suffer from framerate issues in PVP warzones. Don't be so quick to claim "misinformation" because you and your friends are having performance complications. Such an issue could be the result of many factors (I cannot attest to the performance of European or high pop servers, for example). I play on a low-pop server and have ran PVP with "dozens of players" - at least two dozen - without issue. I do not doubt that you and I'm sure many users are experiencing the issue, what I can confirm is that it is not from a want of graphics card strength.

The GTX560 Ti has the graphical horsepower to drive this game at max graphics settings at mainstream resolutions, extraneous performance issue not withstanding, as the game currently exists.

I run it with a 580gtx and haven't really had issues. Most of my lower-end framerates are when I run the game in fullscreen windowed mode. For some reason my GPU usage likes to spike when I'm in windowed, almost 50% drops. But, when I'm at 99% usage it's 100+ FPS @1080p.

so when are they ever gonna put aa in this thing? the low-rez textures don't seem to have been fixed either...

still enjoying my trooper story, but im def getting burnt out and im only at 36. im guilty of spacebar mashing now, every thing is the same 'go here, get/kill this,' but the main story is still good

How on earth did they figure this out? Are there hints in-game about where the datacrons are, because I haven't run across any outside of visually seeing where the datacron is and working out just how to get to it.

I assume the datacrons found around the planets are just people exploring finding them randomly. But this is a whole different story and I have no idea how they found out about it.

Also Bioware says they are going to be deploying a major content patch on PTR servers soon

I simply added AA to my game settings file, it takes 30 seconds to do and it works smile.gif
