Just so full of no.
The developers did not tell them it was ever broken...I'm personal friends and an admin to several servers where this engine is in use...The engine is NOT broken and I'm not repeating myself for the 15th time on this topic but, you're extremely incorrect.
The Hero Engine is also =/= Heroengine.
Please try again.

Really? Do you guys even know how to form an argument?

You can't just state some personal opinion, or some stuff that you may have heard from your cousin, friend, uncle, etc...have to cite reliable sources..

"you're extremely incorrect!" good job!

"you're extremely incorrect!" good job!

Okay, since you're new...I'm basically the secondary admin on SWTOR and my services are available to many of the members here.

In fact, I've recently returned from a stint correcting/automating the backbone in Austin to further accommodate the load on the NGINX base...

I have been involved in this game since inception...Know both the creators of this engine, personally and I actually comprehend what it's capable of doing.

The website is currently bogged down because (according to my numbers on the back-end) 400k of you decided at the last minute to all cancel your subscription at the same time since, officially, today is billing day.

It is not my responsibility to cancel your subscription nor is it my responsibility to accommodate all 400,000 of you at once because you weren't responsible enough to do it in the past 3 weeks.

The engine is not broken, I have an Everquest EMU server running on it now, a WoW server using the HeroEngine, now...And I am intimately familiar with //ALL// assets on this server.

What do you want to know?

The cancel subscription is there. so you are correct sir and the forums are spreading lies again just like they did with the turrets giving valor. I don't get why people cannot realize the OF will always blow things out of proportion and lie. Its constant.

I cannot tell you how many threads about marauders being broken and how you can't play them becuase of ability delay. I play my marauder just fine. I'm usually in the top 3 in damage in warzones. Usually die less than 10 times. I'm not saying there are not issues and things missfire but I am confident its not nearly as bad as the OF make it out to be. That is where the people go to complain.

I agree 100% with you about this. Too many stupid people trying to cancel last minute. The cancel sub has always been there, just people were too dumb to see it or figure out how to do it.
Thats my view and .2cents.gif
