Playing on HoG the numbers in Illum are quite balanced normally. The thing I notice most is that it takes the repubs to want to fight back and not just let us turtle them in. When they do that it's quite a valor faucet for both ends and enjoyable.

I've had it only one day that it was close to balanced and we actually controlled more of ilum then they did I must of got 300-400 kills I went up 6 or 7 valor levels. (in the 40s) Flew through my daily and weekly in minutes. We'd gank groups of 20 and ware them all down getting 100 valor per kill. I mean as a Jedi i have to work with my group to get the valor and kills, on the imp side you can just sit there heal/buff the group and play angry birds and call it a day.

Need to have some incentive to push people to our side or other side, sever by server or i see a lot of people dropping subs just do to the fact that ilum is unable to even drive around without getting killed constantly .. EVEN in groups of 20+ the whole group will be wiped due to the 100+ imps patroling together.

I was speaking pure Illum numbers. Generally I feel we do have an advantage but at the same time(take yesterday for example) the Repubs put it to us until we got our stuff together. I went from valor 52-55 in the span of a few hours. When Illum works it's awesome, it just is very player driven atm. Really just need more people to /not/ camp them in their base since the actual wars are more fun and better valor.

Oh you're right its base hunting all day.. Just sit there and buff or force sweep then camo run back to the base.. having people get harpooned into the turrets so we get the kills a few a minute is so lame.. Every now and then I can talk them to taking it to the bridge, or somehwere out of the base and then you can capitalize on mistakes 10 of us jump groups of 4-6 and get alll the kills and just slowly take them down. We killed about a group of 50 that way and man I was loving it! aside from the lag, but once that lag is worked out that will be great! I think it will also bring more people to ilum once more people can play on ilum, 5 or 6 guys in my guild can't even go there cause they play on laptops, they disconnect or lock up. Once ilum is polished ilum will be THE place to be for fun. I got my weekly yesterday in less than an hour, and going back today for my daily to get 30 + more! Valor 52 coming up!

What FPS is everyone getting in large Ilum fights? My sig rig on lowest settings at 1920x1080 I'm at about 10-20.

The other day when we were both on Ilum at the same time there were two FULL ops groups of imps outside the republic base plus some randoms. I was one of the people doing AoE healing on the imp side. I did notice once or twice when maybe 5 or 10 repubs would all come out of the base at once and attempt to kill some of us but all it did pretty much is cause major AoE spamming. At one point my game even crashed and I was on my desktop. I don't think anyone in the ops group I was in died unless they got pulled and killed by the kill barrier

I can say that on the imp side of Ilum the only two things people say in general chat is "ops invite pls" or "LFG Poisonous Srat" (a heroic 2+).

I'm only at Valor 34. frown.gif Work and school get in the way, but I have all champion or centurion gear except for one slot. (Which I would have centurion gear in except I accidentally bought the wrong item and bought sometime I didn't need instead. mad.gif)
