I guess someone really screwed the pooch with the whole "matrix cube" debacle... Glad they fixed that yesterday.

Still... I hope that they address the sound bug issue. Still so annoying! (Hopefully that is on their top shelf of issues to look at...)

A guy in our guild was making his own sound effects on vent when his went out. It was a good time.

At least they're pretty on top of fixing the bugs, some MMOs I could name would let you sit for a week or 2 before fixing it.
And I love the home-made sound bug fix, love it.

I'm happy with Bioware's support but there are some bugs I wish were fixed already (been playing since early January and these bugs are still there). There's always one issue or two with sound - sound effects not sounding, volume not quite right, etc. I must admit the bug that annoys me the most is when you die in a Warzone and spawn too quickly, you spawn falling to the ground dead and that's it - you remain laying on the floor "dead" until the "Deserter" timer runs out and you're kicked out.

Regardless of these bugs, I keep having a blast with this game. I just joined a good, active Spanish Empire guild on my server and just rolled a Sith Assassin to play around with! biggrin.gif

Hey, I just bought SWTOR a couple weeks ago and wanted to make an observation or three.

First, I think, overall, it's a lot of fun. I have had a good time trying out the different classes et al. I have a Sage at Level 12, a Commando at 11, a Bounty Hunter at 8, and a Sith Warrior (Sith, fat, named Ben'grimm tee hee) level 7.

Second, I am having a hard time, though, remembering that it's an MMO. The reason for this is that I sometimes see other people in the areas I am in but am hardly ever grouped with them. I send an invite and often get declined. What's the point in playing an MMO if you aren't going to Party? I have done a couple Heroics with another person and the Esseles Flashpoint with another person - had a blast both times. So why don't people Party more in general? Wouldn't it make questing go that much faster?

The third observation is man, the graphics feel 5 years old or more. I am often reminded of the 3dMark Vantage or 08. I read the articles relating to the generally poor graphics and how Bioware doesn't seem to care.

In all, I feel like I overpaid for this game. I got it on sale for $44 and feel like I paid $20 too much; especially for a P2P game.

I am not Trolling. I just wanted to share my observations. Keep in mind that I willingly paid to play and AM having some fun nonetheless.

Can anyone shed any light on the issue of Partying?

You should have asked for a trial before you bought it. All subscribers have 25 7 days trials they can gift. As far as groups try to find a casual guild.

meh, like I said, it's still fun. I just like grouping up. Anyway, once GW2 launches, I won't be doing anything else. biggrin.gif

I like the Crafting system though. Generally, I HATE crafting and tend to not do any. Being able to send off my Companion to do it for me rocks!

I think the bug where some players don't show up on your ops list during PvP has been going on since the game started. Not sure how difficult that should be to fix, but apparently it is because they can't. It's not that big a deal for most players, but it's a pain in the ass for healers.

It is because people wait to long to join the instance. This bug used to allow for extra people to join the WZ.

So Still have not got past Toph and Zorn in HM Denova

At this point though we are running Nightmare KP and SM Denova easily with no issues.

Buffed im not at

1950 WIllpower roughly
589 Healing Bonus
43% Crit
79% Surge

and back down to 6 % Cast Speed

I am very satisfied with some work I have done, taking mods from certain black hole gear, and some lucky lvl 61 Armor Mod drops from Denova,

Still i am only rocking Headpiece Augment, because the circlet is much cooler than any other helm

and the Lightsaber Augment with Columi and Black Hole mods.

But im at that stale poi nt, dont feel like playing newer toons, and well, dont feel like farming or doing dailies on the main - D3 time yay
