Just get the Ninja. Ninjas die when they hesitate.

Was looking online.... I could not find topre keyboards that were not well over $200. Care to give me a source that is in stock, new, and "not much more than $160?"

Your not going to find a brand new one for under $200 for sure. Your best luck is to find one used maybe in the GeekHack forums or eBay.

And even used most of the time they dont crack under $200 at least lately when I have been looking....

Here are some on eBay:

Cheapest i;ve seen on GeekHack also lately, think its still available.

Not sure the retail price or how the it measures up to it's brethren, but the 108UDK is about the only Topre board worth the money for me personally. I thought the original person who said I could have a Topre Realforce board for not much more was a little crazy. The $160 was stretching it and while I know I can probably get an IBM Model M for that price I want to test brown switches first. And thus I want the best brown switch keyboard available. I assume that board is the Filco Ninja although some people think Filco is just a well overpriced board that is only average parts and quality. I would rather have the best quality, regardless of brand.

I do think it is odd that the best mechanical keyboards have to offer doesn't even do that well with it's key caps though. Most are typically pad printed. The Ninja is just a bit different by the print being in the front of the keys. For the price you would think they could just give you some better key caps.
