I love Android, and I miss my phone a lot.

Never owned an apple and NEVER will.
I want a tablet, so I'm saving up for a Asus TF101 with keyboard.
I wanted a MP3 player so I had an Insignia Pilot 8gb+4gb SDHC (great until the screen died)
I want a computer, not a pretty white object....lol
I want a phone, I'll only buy HTC(never had a single problem with them)

But that's just me.

I've been primarily an iPhone guy until I recently bought my Nexus S. I am planning to buy a Windows Phone 7 device later this fall when Mango is released, so I guess I'm sort of following your trend. XD

WebOS interests me as well, so I'm tempted to check one of them out. I've owned a Blackberry a long time ago, so it's unfair to judge it based on that.
I haven't tried WebOS either, I always forget about that one. If I ever see a good sale or cheap used one, I'll pick up a touchpad.

Something just feels... wrong about a stock Android phone unless it's running the vanilla OS.
I agree. like most things opensource, leave it the way the author intended it and then i will decide how i want it to look, feel and function

aye the build quality of apple devices and computers are very nice. its not worth the added premium price tag tho imho. i do own a few g4's and g5's. they are nice.

as for android devices, that is my biggest complaint about them, loads of them low quality and low specs and people are getting scammed by them.

Well, I went back to iOS yesterday... I really do love how fluid the UI is, also lots of great things have come to cydia since I left, specially google voice SMS integration.

I love iOS. I'm looking forward to iCloud.

That's because Apple doesn't decrease the price of its products over time, no? When the iPhone 5 comes out it'll probably hold a very similar price point, if not the same.

I went from a black berry to android...

And if there is one thign i dont like about andriod is that it takes twice as long to do anything a black berry can do. Not because its weaker but because the black berry is designed to get to where you need to be fast. And its designed for you to type fast. And its designed to fit in your pocket properly..

The HTC sensation (W/ Android 2.3) cant really do that..

My black berry was louder
my black berry was lighter
my black berry was more rugid
my black berry did most of what my android did

Truth is i really really miss my black berry.. I love my sensation but i might just go back some days..

Then you might have made a mistake getting a full touchscreen smartphone. You could have gotten the HTC G2 with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is designed to be more pocketable. And Android can be configured to perform functions quickly by doing things like setting up shortcuts, gestures etc.
