Where to upgrade?

Thread Starter
I want better PC performance for when BF3 comes out.
my sig is as listed.

I think I want
A 64gb SSD
Another GTX 560 Ti
Better ram (mine is rated at 1333 or is it a huge difference? its running at 1280 due to overclocking to 4ghz)
Another samsung f3 500gb but I can't seem to find them on newegg..for raid 0 storage

not sure what is going to give me the biggest bang for the buck instantly what you guys think?

already overclocked to 4ghz.

2nd 560Ti is going to be a lot more helpful in BF3 than getting faster RAM, I'd go for that first.

imho, a ssd is the biggest upgrade i've ever experienced. that wont neccessarily have any impact on bf3, (besides loading faster and stealing a jet before anyone spawns) but it's a worthwhile upgrade.

your ram is fine, i dont think you would see any difference in fps, maybe 1-2fps if that.

get another 560ti, and a ssd. you won't regret it.

If you want to play BF3 when it comes out, I'd say upgrade the video card and get another for SLI. Like you said, your concern is BF3. Overall performance, I'd say get the SSD since it will not only be an upgrade for your gaming, but as a whole. Faster memory won't help you much, probably in benching as far as daily gaming goes. Hope this helps
