Well... data and statistics can be just as easily manipulated as experiences and sensations.

In my opinion data and statistics by their very nature are subject to manipulation and error . It is much more difficult to "get inside of someones mind" and change their experiences. This is a truism going way back to the Great Ones- Plato and Aristotle.

Of course.
One of my favorite Plato quotes is, "A good decision is based on knowledge , not numbers".

Wise words.

Can any of you name a modern technology that was developed by "experience and sensation"?

Every single invention?
How would one go about creating anything without experience and sensation? Unless, you're talking about something metaphysical.

Also, how would further iterations of a product come into existence without previous experience with it and other related tech?

You are using evidence to convince someone that doesn't value evidence that they should value evidence. That rarely works lol.
