Personally, I'd buy a used i7 920 for like $170 change ur mobo to 1366 slot and get mobo with triple channel ram and call it good.

I'd suggest these changes:
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009266
Mobo & Memory combo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.689144
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139020 (since you plan on CF in the future, 550W would be cutting very close).

Personally, I'd prefer getting this i5-2500k/6870 combo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.662895 then OC the 2500k to 4.5Ghz (mildly) rather than getting an i3-2100 with HD6950. It should be more future proof when you add another 6870 for CF.

Edit: the monitor, GPU and Mobo are currently on Newegg eBlast so they won't last long.

Tyler have you shopped at newegg before? I just got an email with some nice promo codes on monitors. So, keep an eye out for that email and you can get a Hanns-G 21.5 1080p for $110.

If not, Atleast subscribe to Newegg e-blast insider.

That monitor is just bigger, it isn't LED backlit so it will dim fast after about a good year of gaming. Also that only has a 1000:1 native contrast ratio. Take the 21.5 honestly. Why screw yourself over for 1.5 inches?

If you're thinking about Crossfire, you need to seriously consider getting a stronger PSU. Your current setup will drain between 450-500 watts.

Why not get this PSU, which is even sweeter after this coupon?

Here's a power consumption calculator.
