That's because you guys are really looking for perfect. Perfect is always going to be in the eye of the beholder. If the issue with a sensor is easily fixed by the end user with next to zero effort, and everything else is good, that's not even a con to me.

It's his opinion, as well as mine, shouldn't give derp crap for it when he's honestly posting opinions about the stuff he's tried. Especially if you are going to gripe about other things, like not liking the shape of a mouse. Going by the same logic being used, you should just get used to it.

For me side buttons are one of the most important things for me in a mouse. The extra 2 buttons come in handy for in fps games like cod and BFBC2.

I heard that bit of info on these forums somewere about some jitter and some dont.

Whinges? whine? (must be a british thing?) If so, stating facts isn't whining. You have proven yourself to be an ignorant troll again and again. Get the **** out of my thread if facts annoy you.

Blocking some of the light with a piece of tape fixes the only flaw of that sensor, the high LOD. There is no quick fix for my Xai's positive acceleration and fail perfect control speed on cloth pads. There isn't a quick fix for the prediction on my MX518. Those problems are there for good.

Fair enough.

And that's what I feel is the bottom line. Some people don't mind the accel on the Xai or the prediction on the 518, and for them that's a good (if not perfect) mouse for them. However, I think a majority of these threads that turn into 40-page debates are ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with Derp voicing his opinion, but like I said some of the other threads on this forum turn childish pretty quickly.

i dont get why you would make a mouse and not make prediction adjustable or at least on or off

and acceleration doesnt make any sense

why cant a mouse exist that works well lol...

And why not settle with the near perfect products

nothing should matter other than how it will perform in games. I dont feel that neither the 2,1m/s perfect control speed of the cm storm spawn is holding me back, neither does the very slight prediction in the mico or its pixel skipping at 1600dpi in low resolutions. Neither does the higher lift off distance of the abyssus LOL edition
