Prior to 2009~, you only had the option of buying an Intellimouse/WMO if you didn't want a gaming grade mouse with prediction. If you valved or required the performance, it was a two way street from there.

Some people like it, some people hate, some people simply don't care. Some people can get used to it and others feel like they can't perform their best because it's holding them back. Is it really? I can't answer that, but at least there are options for us nowadays.

It seems ironic how a company that sells faulty (honest opinion) high end mice could actually work with the better (in my opinion) sensor manufacturer to recode their firmware to disable prediction for those that wanted it. luls razer.

As for the spawns' 3090, I have a feeling that Razer's IR light source/lens setup might something to do with why the DA/Salmosa/Abyssus have such high perfect control/malfunction rates since the sensor is literally a copy (Default CPI wise). Still not a bad mouse if you're a normal claw grip and use your wrist, but others will have to seek something else if they require high malfunction/perfect control rates. D:

You don't have many options.

WMO has 400 CPI.

Abyssus has 450/1800/3500 CPI and may jitter on Qck

Obviously there's the spawn, but I haven't read your other post or don't if you own one. May jitter. 800-1800-3500 CPI

Mico has prediction, but isn't to the same extent as you would find on a normal mouse with prediction. 400-800-1600 CPI

Logitech G1 has 800 or 1000 CPI (korean), but it has prediction.

Salmosa has 800-1800 CPI, but it also has prediction.

You could try the Microsoft Comfort Bluetrack 3000, but it's capped at 125hz. Left and right click and unibody and may cause issues in gaming. Light prediction. 1000 CPI. - Side note: I love this shape.

Technically all mice have prediction, but you get the point.

Edit: All mice listed above don't have accel issues.

comfort bluetrack is 1k dpi? really? also what would the 125 hertz do im not aware of what the low polling rate does TECHNICALLY, i just read that it hurts sensitivity/accuracy but how bad can it be?

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...pmeJeA&cad=rja

Yes.

As for polling rate, it should only really hurt latency (I.E. 125hz=8ms, 500hz=2ms, 1000hz= 1ms), but in this case the 8 bit controller on the mouse is bottlenecking the sensor well below Microsoft rated performance of 72 IPS or 1.8m/s. A higher polling rate would allow the mouse to perform optimally, but with 125hz, you're stuck with the 1m/s or 40 IPS malfunction rate. Using a program like hidusbf to bump polling rate has no effect with this mouse.

It would theoretically be a good mouse performance wise if Microsoft didn't gimp it. If you're okay with the 1 meter a sec malfunction rate, then go for it.

I've heard that the mouse will do 200hz via PS/2, but It's really unconfirmed if that boost's it's performance.

Intellimouse? The comfort mouse bluetrack 6000? It's the same sensor with the same problem as the 3000

1 meter a second i dont know how that translates into speed but i dont USE 1 meter but i can EASILY move at that speed so prob wont work for me ill get neg accel prob right?

Yep. You'll hit negative accel past that point.

Blocking some of the light with a piece of tape fixes the only flaw of that sensor, the high LOD. There is no quick fix for my Xai's positive acceleration and fail perfect control speed on cloth pads. There isn't a quick fix for the prediction on my MX518. Those problems are there for good.
Dont cry *****. You have to fix the issue with a temp solution. The sensor has high lod so ****
