Using Outerspace's Custom Logger I got the perfect control speed to be around 2,3m/s which was plenty for me

My findings exactly.

Derp, have you got a solid black mousepad you could try with FW Ver. 32? A QCK or Sargas 460 might change your tune.

I just got mine and flashed it to firmware 32. LoD is very low on a PureTrak Stealth. The build quality is very high. I don't think there's jitter, but I'll let the more experienced guys decide.

@3500 dpi, 500hz, PureTrak Stealth, fw32
jitter%252520test%252520cm%252520spawn%252520500hz%25252C%2525203500%252520dpi%25252C%252520fw32.png

The switches are pretty good, but I think I like the PureTrak Valor's better because they feel lighter/crisper. The scroll wheel is stiffer than the Valor's as well.

Try drawing diagonal lines slowly using 800 CPI @ 250Hz.

The goliathus speed that I mentioned in the review is all black except for the corner logo's. Ill try 32 on it for the hell of it but I have a feeling it will only lower the perfect control speed even more.

EDIT: I just tried firmware 32 with the all black goliathus and lift off distance is a wonderful 1mm. But that doesn't mean a damn thing when the perfect control speed is around what feels like 1m/s.

Id say the MicO but since I haven't had my hands on it personally I don't know how well it ACTUALLY performs.

I did own the abyssus which got returned because of jitter. Other negatives include a high lift off distance, a poorly designed foot print that makes it easy to rock/tilt when changing directions and the glossy sides. But the sensor's perfect control speed was very high, no acceleration problems either.

I find the lower perfect control speed to occur only on clothpads even drak ones.on black hard pad which i have ,the sensor is flawless! I would say even better than DA because of the lower lift off. with firmware 31,32.

Im now back on my DA though, been using it since 4yrs and i couldnt get used to the spawns' shape too well. 2 small gripes i have:

1.The edges around the sensor are very sharp and its quite big which attracts some dust or hair to get traped in the sensor.

2.cant remove sweat marks(from my fingers resting on the 2 mains rubber coated buttons) hehe.

i believe i have the first rev as i didnt get extra mouse feet, and the one on the mouse have sharp edges??

It looks to me like it doesn't have jitter. Can you confirm please? I drew the last 3 on the right at a faster pace than the other two sets.

The lines I showed with jitter are at a slow to medium speed, about the speed you would use to aim in a shooter. If I move it really slow it doesn't jitter and if I move it really fast it doesn't jitter. You should definitely be able to feel it, its pretty obvious.

What polling rate are you using? I use 500 Hz, which seems to be the best compromise between response time and CPU load, and the most consistently steady polling rate on my mobo. I am also using the 800 cpi setting exclusively (except for playing around testing), and the Spawn tracks perfectly up to at least 2 m/s, which I never exceed in-game (medium sense ~20 cm/360 degrees). If I swipe like a maniac, I can see some negative accel above 2 m/s (counts per sample report capped at 127), but I wouldn't consider this to be a controlled movement on my part that would be beneficial to me in a game. I do routinely exceed 1.5 m/s in-game, and occasionally hit as high as 1.8 m/s, but that's about it.
