Bulldozer 4core question

Thread Starter
Hi,

I have a question regarding the 4core Bulldozers.

If the 8core Bulldozers are comparable to the I7 2600K Sandy Bridge cpus.

And I am guessing the I5 2500K will be comparable to the 6core Bulldozers.

Where will the 4core Bulldozers fit in? Perhaps the lower I5 2400 or I3 etc cpus?

I was interested in buying one but if its less in performance than the I5 2500K I may as well buy that or something else for that money.

Thanks.

No one really knows for sure yet. We have no hard evidence. Follow http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/79...blog-live.html for information.

The FX Series CPU is to be discussed in the Bulldozer Blog thread only as per staff notification. Closing this thread.

At this moment there are no details on which FX CPU competes with what when concerning performance. There are a couple unconfirmed details about the price but that is it.
