Best CPU Intensive Transcoding Program for i7?

Thread Starter
I currently use Mediashow Espresso to convert .MTS video files to another video format (MP4 files). Now that I am overclocked, I want to use my chip to the max. What video transcoder can I use to get the best bang for my buck?

It doesn't have to be free. I am willing to pay. I prefer it not to be Photoshop CS5 or Vegas.

I know some transcoding software is very GPU intensive or memory intensive. Any advice on the best transcoder that will utilize my PC better?

Any that work on a quad core?

I've been wanting just such a piece of software myself! Currently I use FormatFactory and it only uses 50% of my CPU while transcoding video...
