Got me new Board Today - M5A88-V EVO - Could you check some thing for me?

Afternoon,

I got my new board today and this time with the advice (and a lot of reading on here) decided that I'd go for some thing that has some better "mosfet" AM3+ board with decent 8+1 power phase + north/south bridge coolers on it, it's got to be an improvement to the "gigabyte MA-770T" that i had that didn't have any.

Any way, couple of things the BIOS is going to take me some getting used too after moving from Gigabyte to Asus and never mind all the overclocking tabs and selections in the there to play with! it's going to be a learning curve.

On the mother board there's 2 little switches, one to "unlock the core" and the other to enable TPU - i have these both switched on and the LED's are on. when it boots it shows me that the "core is un-locked" as i see a picture of it and also a text message along the screen.

just a small problem, i can't seem to keep the temps down on the processor, of course I've had to change the thermal paste but I'm good at this honest i am done hundred's of CPU's and GPU's etc, saying that there's all ways human error! so i suppose i might have goofed it up!

Just wondering now with the core unlocked i take it that would in crease usage and power so that's maybe why she's running a little hotter than normal (when i say normal i mean on the old board)

I've got a "push/pull" set up sucking air into the case from the room and i've added an extract fan to the front (at the top) that sucks the air from the inside of the case out, also at the bottom of the case there's another fan that's sucking air into the case, so 3 fans sucking air in and one extracting at the top, along with vents etc.

How ever, i've tried a couple of times in the bios to run the automatic OC utility and it states "this may take 5 minutes" but it then reboots and windows loads and that's it, there's software overclocking programsthat's come with the board but to be honest i'd prefer A) to get the temps down, that's if i need too, and b) sort out the auto overclock in the bios.

(of course i can post some pics but have no idea what you guys would want to see, if that would help diagnose the problem) but of course i can head off and change the CPU paste again at the weekend, i did use arctic silver on it this time and all ways rated that as the best.

if you could shine a little light on the matter then i'd appreciate the feedback/help.

thought i'd add a few more screen shots for you some of the software for OC and some of the bios, i think i might upgrade the bios, looks like i'm on an old revision.
