Oh by the way, quick boot was disabled in the bios and i enabled it but still this is the best its giving me with a vertex 3 :-s

My friends vertex 2 doesnt even let the 4 colors touch before booting. And my RAID is way quicker than this.

What's the boot time you're getting on your gigabyte board?

i boot alot faster than that and i have a gigabyte board around 18 seconds for me

Mine takes about a minute, that's including POST though. OS boot normally is less than 15 seconds.

So I disconnected all the USB devices and the boot time went down to 26 seconds....i guess i just have a lot of things connected to my PC that's why.

Disable all of your third party SATA controllers. That will get rid of the long post. Not sure why windows takes so long though...
