The only part where the rails wouldn't touch is at the ends. Which I can just dab a tad in the spaces. Now how good is dyntec's tim(bestbuy) that's all I can get access to at the moment. Unless I go online but if the dyntec will be good for 2 months then il use that then get the good stuff wen I return home

Would spreading out the paste with your own finger (while using plastic gloves or plastic wrap over your finger) work good too if you want to make sure you have good coverage?

We here at OCN analyze the spreading of TIM as if it was an art. The manufacture just slops it on. Such a great amount of difference of attention applied to this process. TIM has been used for many,many years and in electronics school the guy spent maybe 10 minutes talking about it.He did not feel it was very easy to get it wrong or to hard to get it right.It was an Air Force instructor giving the class.
