My recent experience with my Titanium HD:
2x BSOD last night. I think it had to do with me changing sound cards in the middle of playback. It's most likely my fault. Remember folks, don't change default sound devices unless your music/video/game is STOPPED.
Sorry, I meant to drive my D2000.

I did buy it but are you sure the optical will work? I emailed Creative and heres what they said.
Thank you for writing in to Creative.
With regards to your enquiry, please be informed that the X-Fi Titanium HD sound card don't meet your requirements. You may like to PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series, since the Logitech 5450 speaker system comes with optical input jacks, you can connect your Logitech 5450 speaker system to the Optical out jack of the PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series Sound Card using optical cable which is Toslink shaped.
I'm using the optical out on the card right now with my Logitech Z-680 speakers. I have both the headphones and speakers connected to the card. I just switch between them in Windows.Edited by MakubeX - 8/1/11 at 7:00pm
