PC heating up ?

I built my PC about a year ago I have a i7 950 overclocked to 3.8GHz with a Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler I used the thermal paste that the cooler came with which was a Noctua NT-H1. The thing is for the first 6 to 7 months I got temps 32 -33c idle and 64-65c Load but for the past 5 months am getting 42-43c idle and 72-73c Load so you can see it has jumped nearly by 10c idle and load I mean what could be the reason ? I have cleaned my PC 4 times in the past 5 months removed the dust from the fans using cans of air compressors but still the temps don't come down could it be the cpu cooler needs some thermal paste ? But i would like to confess the time I got those low temps it was winter time but still I didn't expect the temps to go this high plus this is the Coolermaster Haf X case we are talking about it's meant to be or if not the best case for air flow

Or and I forgot to add the air flow of my Haf X is:

Front 230mm Intake Fan
Side 200mm Intake Fan

Back 140mm Outtake Fan
Top 200mm Outtake Fan
Also I have a option for another 200mm Top Outtake fan or Intake I was thinking of installing this but would outtake be batter or intake ?

Ambient temps play a big part is how cool your CPU gets. If its winter and the room you have the PC in is cool, then you will have lower CPU temps than in the summertime if the room is warmer. My i7 950 is idling about 5c higher than it was in the winter time due to my room being warmer now even with the A/C on.

Thanks for that liljoejoe54 I think this could be the problem I really want to go for water cooling but only if it make a big differance if I can get below 30c idle on watercooling that's great maybe a bit more overclock also.

Maybe its time to reapply TIM?

these summer temps drives my idle temps up too. got about 4C increase in temps when summer rolled in. also i moved my case on top of my desk near the window and that increased temps by another 2C.
