Here's some pics of parts condensed into 1 post. I'll delete them and add room pics once the LAN is all back up and running (probably Monday). I'm still waiting on 2 coolers, 2 dvd drives, and 1 motherboard.

I've had four for quite a long time and it's turned out to be a ton of fun. Most of my friends are married with kids, so my house is like the total bachelor getaway. If we even play a few times a month, they pay for themselves by keeping us out of the bars

To the poster asking why four different motherboards: I rarely pay full retail price for anything. I usually snag good Ebay deals, Open Box buys, etc so that's why the different brands and models.

Okay, found some extra time tonight, so I'm going to start assembling Comp2. I pulled some parts down from the closet and found an unused 500gb hd! Anyways, here's a couple pics just so you can see the ball is beginning to roll.

Having more than one helps me with completing lessons. Lets say I have a complex assignment where I constantly have to refer back to the instructions, I will use one screen/computer for that(just to keep the lesson displayed). I will use a second for reasearch, sometimes two(leaving a article I found displayed,or even two articles). Then I will use a 3 or fourth to work the lesson (usually a computer running Packet Tracer for CCNA studies. My Instructor says he runs all his classes off a laptop running XP.At times it shows. This technique works really good in classes where I do need to do a lot of reasearch to complete assignments. It also works good if you want to refer back and fourth to a DVD but do not want to loose your place in the assignment.

I admit it is a mystery to me how people manage to do the same assignment with just one laptop.
