Comp1 had your exact build (mb,cpu, ram) and I upgraded it for $144.91. It could've been done for $94.91 if I would've jumped on the Fry's deal.

Just a quick update showing what arrived in the mail today! You'd think since I pay for all this that I at least could get a volunteer to install the damn things I'm hoping this will be a fun one!

So here's a quick pic of the guts for Comp4. Comp4's guts I got for $458 ($55 mb, $29 ram, $164 gpu, $20 cooler, $190 cpu). Once you subtract the old 775 mb/ram/cpu and gpu, the total upgrade was $168 and I still have the old cooler to sell. I'll have it together and at least boot into the BIOS before I get some sleep. I'll load drivers and Windows on it Monday morning and install a few games, so it should be ready for action Monday night.

An unexpected update on Comp4: Somehow one of the 74gb Raptors went bad even though it was working fine when I disassembled the computer. I don't care about losing the Raid, but 74gb is cutting it close for capacity. I have a 500gb on it also, but I don't trust Maxtor to save my life. It might be time for 3 SSDs, but I'm having a tough time convincing myself that Comps 2,3, and 4 need them.

I'll make you a deal. If you can keep AAPL from tanking today, I'll do it.

Well, tonight was our first Lan night since the upgrades. I didn't have time to install Flashpoint: Red River to check it out, but next time. We played Company of Heroes tonight. Comps worked excellent! I'll post a few pics tomorrow.

Holy, how you get all this equipment so cheap? I look on eBay and can't find anything for as cheap.
