Lazy day at Northbrook Skatepark -- didn't feel like moving around, so I took a bunch of mediocre shots.

They're all friends of mine. I didn't feel like riding Sunday, so I just shot a bit and enjoyed leftover Dominos pizza some younger kids had delivered to the park.

Haha, thanks. The last one is my fav as well -- I'm most disappointed at the silhouetted photo, it was impossible to get the fence shadows to do an even spread because of the sun's position, and even +3 perspective correction sent it straight to hell. This would have been a great time to borrow a tilt-shift, but hindsight is 20/20 I suppose.

i think the silhouette is awesome. i think it looks great not being a perfectly shadowed silhouette. i still dont understand how those tiltshift lenses work. what would change with that shot if you did it with a tiltshift? just curious

Scroll down -- it's easiest to explain how tilt-shift lenses work by demonstrating what happens by adjusting the seperate mechanics.
