Gamers should be more respectfull to eachother. Who cares what platform you use. As long as you have fun playing it.

To some of us, fully enjoying the game includes a ridiculous gaming rig in order to max as many settings as possible and play it across our desired number of monitors to get the fully immersive experience that console gamers just dont understand or care about. As PC gamers, we just take pride in our computers and how well our rigs perform, because the better they perform, the more we can enjoy our games. Once people give pc gaming a chance, and they learn about the computer, learn how to game with it, and learn how to manage it, there is no better platform to play on. Consoles do not cut it and never will.

Sometimes I think there are a few too many children on OCN. (and that they all have consoles) pcgamermasterrace.jpg

But seriously, they shouldn't have to apologize. Is there any reason to believe MW3 will support 64 players? Not a chance.

How many of you think we will see 128-person servers available at some point? Ya know, if mod tools were available, people could create maps appropriate for 128+ players.

i cant imagine playing a game on a console and i have all the consoles in every era except the wii coz its kiddy

also my 360 is eating dust and ps3 with my bro though had to buy ps3 for GOW and liked it as opposed to loving it

the 2nd GOW was the best and was epic

also the Frames on the pc is so stable and good when i play on a console it feels iam playing in slow motion

P.S also remembered that when i got the orange box for the 360 and played TF2 (spy) when i changed to sapper it took like a sec to tick the button(when u play tf2 and choose spy and change ur weapon thr is an animation whr the spy is like starting the sapper thing) and on pc its like instant

this difference is alot for me so left sonsoles and not much into new consoles now also as pc is where the fun is

I recall it always being 24 for BF3.

All on the same map, and yes you have the ability to walk the entire map. It's broken up into squads, 32 people squads with four squads per team. It's actually extremely epic, especially once your getting down to the base. You have all four squads of the defending side spawning from 2 areas, and the other team right outside the buildings parachuting or being air lifted in through the helicopter. Pretty fun if you play it.

Yup! The smallest mode is suppression, TDM with 32 player teams.

sure, 500 players could be possible too if you simplify the game enough; but it wouldn't be the same game.
They do have limited maps, though I'm just going to assume that's because of the sheer size of the maps. If you've played mag you would know that it is anything but simple, in fact there's some fun and crazy strategy going down. My favorite part is the snipers, where you actually get badass rifles that do one shot kills (except heavy armor). They have scopes that see much farther than I've seen in pretty much every game. You have weapon customizations like the bipod, 4x scope, red dot, silencer, hand grip, grenade launcher, and more. Different armor types, which effect your speed and the amount of things you can carry. The game is well built overall, it is just that the graphics aren't "omg those players look real". They work well, the hitboxes aren't that bad at all, the maps decently detailed, the game is way sweet. Best of all, 32/64/128 player teams.

Even though the maps are limited in size, playing on a different squad is like playing on a slightly different map. You have different strategies for the different parts of the map, making the gameplay fun. Though some of it gets repetitive, that happens with every FPS and multiplayer.

MAG is by far the best multiplayer game I've played in a long time for a console. Mainly because of the player count, you don't have to stand around to get kills. That and you have goals, that's my favorite part. That depends on the gameplay, I just play 128v128, it rocks. Starting off is a little slow, until you get the good weapons and then it becomes more fun. If I had a choice between playing MAG and playing COD/BF, I'd play mag every time. (this is console only, as I only wish MAG was on the PC)

consoles social networking and matchmaking is better then pcs ten fold..

it is a device, thats SPECIFICALLY made for gaming. a PC is NOT a gaming device, it was never intended to be one...

a console is a DEDICATED gaming device, despite the older hardware and inferior controller (for fps mainly)..they can do a great job on the next gen..they just need to bump the hardware up and possibly include a mouse for the fps titles
