More or less. Obviously you could bring certain settings down a little. No one needs to have EVERY setting maxed.

I play all my games on 1080P with everything maxed and iv never had any FPS problems.

Im also looking at getting another 6870 and xfiring it.. either with a new bulldozer or sandybridge.. pulling the trigger on a new build in october.

Not necessarily true one card can be used to max out 3 46" tvs as shown here he uses one 6870 and plays games in eyefinity on 3 46" TVs
