your system is still very good. i see a waste of money in doing that. Also is your i7 950 overclocked at all? If not then you really shouldn't be upgrading because you think its 100% better. I went from a Phenom II to a 2500K @ 4.5Ghz and that was a very big jump and i could tell it was very different but i don't think upgrading to sandy bridge from your rig is a very good idea. Its a waste of money.

It's only if I can OC and have low temps. Otherwise, I'm buying a new mobo/cpu combination witha Noctua and going to 4.7 GHz There's a whole nother thread on my situation right...here : http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/1073...rformance.html
