103c too hot?

Is 103c too hot for a GPU playing GTA 4? Im too afraid to run Furmark cause i know it will overheat cause damage shutdown and all other kinds of things.

Yes, that is way too hot for your card.

Try adjusting the fan settings to something more aggressive.

You should try to keep it below 80c at all times once you get past there things start getting iffy. What is the ambient temperature where you are? Does your case have decent cable management?

I'd double check that you're running stock speeds and then closely inspect the heatsink to see that its suck on there good.

Thats definitely not a healthy temperature for your card. D:

yes way to hot for just a game, gpu's can handle those temps for a few hours of stress testing, but woun't like it like that 24/7

Like shorty said, it can do it for a bit but it is not built to sustain such a high temperature. You gotta do something about this ASAP.
