I plan on building one of these two, but I need your opinions on which is better. Also, if you have any suggestions, please give me them!

Great choice. You should get a Corsair Power Supply. And for the Hard Drive get a couple of Samsung 1 TB F3 as they are much cheaper and faster. As for the GPU get EVGA. They have a great lifetime warranty if your computer fries up. Nice choice on the SSD and amazing CPU choice. You won't regret it. Great job on the LED Backlit monitor. It never dims. For the motherboard did you check out the P8Z68? Or an ASUS CROSSHAIR EXTREME iV or something like that. Those are great. Good ram. Fast and you have room for upgrade later. Nice choice on the case fan.

Get number one with what I suggested. Enjoy your I7 2600K

If you don't tell us what you use your computer for, it's kind of hard to give you any advice that's worthwhile Otherwise, you'll get the generic answers that have nothing to do with your needs.
