use Etsu or mx-4 .. Artic silver is so old and overrated.

the as5 is just what i have laying around and what i can get locally.

alright so my 3rd card in the lop is cooking....

under load for a couple hours playing bf3

9800 35*c > 580 47*c > 580 80*c

i dont htink there should be that big of a difference..... i mean is it still safe to run it like that? ive done the tim 3 times on and and im starting to wonder if the block is bad on the inside or something..... really frustrated. maybe i just have a retarded hot running card.... idk

Try flipping the 580s order, and see if the card stays running that hot when it's first. If you swap them, and it's still running hot then you know it's not the order causing it. That's a pretty big temp difference, even for being third card.
