With wireless, since there is no wire to guide you slightly, you tend to move your wrist like you're opening a jar to move left and right, rather than moving your entire arm. Just my experience, yours may vary.

Plus the mouse is massive, hard for small hands like mine to navigate tiny movements in a palm grip.
well why don't you plug it in? :$ I mean it does do data over cable but tbh I don't think this will annoy me obliviously it'll take some getting used to just like any other mouse but I'm sure once I once I'm used to it I'll be kicking ass =]

I cannot play fps with a wireless mouse. I know their latency is meant to be indiscernible from wired but they still feel slower to me (perhaps battery weight?).
hopefully i like it :\\

Then again, I've never owned a wired gaming mouse, so you can take my opinion with a grain of salt or two(as with any opinion).
tbh i think everyones different and i'll be putting the reciever in my G15 so it'll be close so tbh i won't know till i try it ... i wish there was a place i could test it out and see how easy it is to grip but there isn't although i think its one of the best out of what ive seen :\\

The cable for the G700 is as thick/stiff as a firehose.

Yeah the wireless did take getting used to for me. I owned a G5 for over 5 years before I got this bad boy. I do love it, don't get me wrong. While I'll still use this mouse for most applications, I will be looking for a claw grip optical mouse sometime in the near future for BF3.

Hi guys it came today but I am having BIG issues with it.

(Uploading a video to youtube explaining will post once its uploaded)

*EDIT (PROBLEMS SOLVED!!)

okay strange problem I had here. I thought I'd google it and didn't find a fix there but found others had the same issues I had heres the link:

http://www.techsupportforum.com/foru...00-589741.html

Quote:
-Sometimes the click is simply disabled
-I can't move forward, backwards or pause youtube videos
-When I click on a tab on Google Chrome, the tab closes (although I'm not clicking on the small x) to the point where when I click on the last tab remaining, google chrome closes
-I can't select items on a scroll-down menu with my mouse
-When I try gaming, the screen goes all over the place
-When I use mumble, I can enter a channel but then I can't switch to another one
-When I open task manager, everything works again for a brief period of time
-Today I shut down my computer all night, when I turned it on everything worked for about 30 minutes or so and then bugged out again.
-When I use another mouse, the problems persist (!!!)
These are some of the problems I had.

Now for the fix, simple enough but I'm a little angry that it was a problem in the first place because it should have been noticed in Logitech's quality control.

Anyway basically my scroll wheel was stuck in. It wouldn't click and the left and right clicks didn't work either, the scroll wheel was basically on the right of the hole.

lets say this is how its meant to look:

Strange problem and after about two mins of probing the wheel because I thought "I swear this wheels meant to have a left and right click like the old one" the wheel clicked back into place and functionality was restored!!

Hopefully I can help people with this issue because I swear to god I was soooo close to getting my money back haha and it just didn't cross my mind that there could be a problem with it because it was fresh out of the box. Considering the other guy was noting the same problems I had I'm guessing this is a problem many new G700's have (maybe an issue in the factory they're made at).

So if you have these issues don't bother with uninstalling/installing/reinstalling anything just fiddle with the mouse wheel to get it back into place

your welcome

Thanks Robb--I just got a brand spanking new G700 to replace my Logitech VX Nano [which was a GREAT mouse BTW--great battery life, lightweight, compact, durable, so much so I am bringing it to work to use there instead of my house].

I have a Razer Copperhead wired gaming mouse but the wires always bugged me [they got ran over, yanked, the Razer wire is even frayed but it still works!], and also since I had some points on Amazon Rewards, I figured I'd just go for the G700 which is one of the top gaming mice wired and wireless.

I definitely do not regret getting this mouse. It's absolutely great. After I upgraded the firmware and setpoint drivers, everything was going great . . . until I noticed it was having issues left-clicking on some dialogue boxes and wouldn't minimize, close, or expand Firefox and other programs intermittently. I restarted my computer several times, tried wireless and wired, reinstalled drivers etc. but the problem persisted!

After reading your post, I immediately looked at the wheel and SURE ENOUGH, it was slightly off-center, to the left instead of the right. I fiddled with it, clicked it over left and right and after 30 seconds, it seems to be centered.

Now EVERYTHING works perfect.

I thought I got a dud mouse at first too, but man, thanks to you I just saved myself probably hours of phone calls and emails to Logitech.

Logitech is still a great company. I had to get a charging base replaced out of warranty for one of their universal remotes and they sent me a new one within 2 days, and didn't even make me ship back the defective one. Customer-service is top-notch so far in my book.

Thanks again for your post.
