Overclocking DLP Projectors

Thread Starter
Does anyone try to overclock the 3chip DLP projector? DLP chips can support higher frame rates (more than 32000 frames per second for 1bit images (1024x768)). However due to interface bottlenecks and lack of demand, projector companies do not produce more than 240Hz projectors (Sony has 240Hz projector, other only 120Hz). So can I overclock the projector to get more than 300 Hz 8 bit images? (assuming that I have an overclocked gpu that supports 300 Hz). Any comments are welcome.

your gpu should be able to display any fps your card is able to render. however a far as overclocking a dlp chip. I havent heard of it.

Wouldnt you run into software problems limiting how many fps the dlp projector can display?
