SLI 460's not very impressed, overhyped... however
SLI 580's very pleased... just too bad the 3GB's came late, much too late

Couldn't be much happier personally. Multi-card scaling is better than it's ever been. I'm usually seeing 70-90% gains over a single card.

I'm never going to own a single GPU again.

I started off with 1 EVGA Geforce GTX 570 and it was running very smooth, But my standards are high when it comes to GPU preformance, at first i was sceptical about SLI, and if i were to SLI it would cost me a good 375 Dollars. I ended up purchasing a second GTX 570 and it blew my preformance through the roof! I would recommend SLI anyday!

SLI is very good I would choose it any day I get 70 to 80% gains over a single card especially with gtx 570
post #48 of 66
Very happy with mine as well, Nothing can beat gtx480's in Sli in terms of cost/performance. U really gotta be a fool to go gtx580's....Mine overclocked beat stock 580's and I have a lot of money saved...

SLI is great right now due to its great scaling.

I love it for two reasons:

A) Great performance increase in 95% of games. Allows me to crank up each and every setting to the max.

B) Even if one card could max out a game, two make each card work less (with vsync on). Many people overlook this, but having 2 cards running at 40% fan speed 50C compared to one card running 90% fan speed 85C is much much more bearable.
