One of the best cases ? [ cooling ] - Page 2

Silverstone FT02 and the Raven 2 [though I hate the look of the Raven 2].

Nothing tops the FT02 for complete air cooling. Why this hasn't been recommended yet is beyond me.

The HAFX is big, clunky, and the only thing it has going for it is that is have average air cooling capabilities and excellent watercooling abilities if you're into that. which puts it above the FT02 in versatility.

If you plan on staying air cooled only, or like, a Corsair HXX or Anter X20 cooler for your CPU only and don't plan on a full loop, the FT02 will dance circles around the HAFX.

RV03+extra fans dances circles around FT02/RV02/RV02-E

But I admit, its not easy on the eyes, even after me removing the gold strips.

RV03 better air cooling than HAF X ? How ?

4 front 120mm fan slots , so , where do you put HDD's ? Or is there some space for fans , and if there is , then how can it suck air in , I don't see how it could pull air in as front seems sealed.

Also , 2 fans from bottom 180mm, 4 in front 120mm, 1 in side 120mm- pulling air in ?

And 1 top 120mm , 1 rear 120mm pulling air out ?

From what I know , it's better when you pull more out than get in , in this case it's opposite from what I read.

Well , some test results might help , still , those gold stripes .. *sad face*

Depends if you want positive, negative or equal air pressure. There are HDD/SSD mountings on the back of mobo tray.

this thread clears up quite a bit of stuff:
