Looking for good 120gb SSD

Thread Starter
Hey everybody.
I'm looking for a nice 120gb SSD.
I already found the OCZ Vertex 3 120gb, which I really like, but I would like to see which drives other people like.
I don't NEED S-ATA III, but I always prefer it over S-ATA II
I hope someone can help
Thanks in advance

OCZ Vertex 3 120GB is what I would recommend. I have the previous generation Vertex 2E and it's nothing short of amazing! I've always liked OCZ SSDs (I've bought SSDs from their first and second generation Vertex series) and I'm sure their latest generation does not disappoint. If you want cheaper though the Crucial M4 or C300 would also suffice at 128GB.

Yeah I'm not really on a price limit, but of course I prefer cheaper.
But I've heard that OCZ has/had firmware problems. Is that true? And if yes, what was wrong?

I've had no issues with their firmwares and frankly I think they are rock solid, but I cannot say from experience about the Vertex 3 series. However, from what I've read online and researched the firmware is solid. Updating is flawless if done right.

I'm a huge fan of my CRUCIAL M4. Slightly slower sequentials compared to Vertex 3, faster randoms, and much cheaper. Also Marvell, not SandForce controller, the latter of which has caused issues for many users.

Waaaah!
Sorry, but until maybe a week ago, I never bothered about SSDs so I don't know much (what's with that 4K thing for example)...
Anyway which of these 2 drives is better: Crucial M4 128Gb or OCZ Vertex 3 120Gb?
Pwease helwp
No but seriously... I'm lost...
Thanks in advance
