havent ever done it clearly i need to learn this...

i know i need a formated flash drive but what exactly is a fat/fat 32 flash drive?

im reading this guide http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...e=en-us&page=1

but its saying i need to do other things for EZflash but cant i just download the BIOS, save it to a flash drive or floppy disk and then in BIOS menu pick load from file/disk? and keep it simple stupid?

also is there a flash drive i should get because its better for this task?

Download the bios for your motherboard, it will come in a winrar file most likely. Extract the file onto the USB drive. Just know what the bios is called. When you go into the bios to flash the new version, look for the utility called EZFlash, at which point it will have a list of the files on your thumb drive. Simply select the bios you downloaded and it will update.

No need to format or anything, don't make it more complicated than it is.
