BF3 Alpha freezing

Thread Starter
Hi everyone!

So I was so lucky that I got a Alpha key today! I nearly jumped out of my chair when I saw I got it! hehe

But the problem is this... The game is freezing after 2-5min playing. So I have to force shut it.

Right now I am using the 275.33 driver from nvidia, with it I get around 40-50fps with GTX 570 SLi.... and with the newer beta driver 275.50 I got around 15-35fps, which was truly unplayable, so I tried the 275.33 instead.
(I think its weird that I get that low fps, since I saw some guy with a 5770 or something running at 400-600fps or something!)

But I can live with 40fps, its not that. But I want to play a round without freezing

Tried downclocking my 2500k, same result. No with and without GPU overclock, same result.

BF3 tells me to install the driver 275.39, and from my searching that is a DICE only driver.. But I found out that there will be a new 280.xx driver tomorrow from what I have heard!

BUT I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME NOW! I'm going away for a few days tomorrow

Please, if anyone got any ideas please share them!

Rep+ will be awarded for help.

Nvidia has many problems with the Battlefield 3 Alpha right now, looks like AMD gpu's run perfectly for now.

We're not allowed to discuss the Alpha here, therefor I'd suggest you to make a thread in the Official Alpha forum in your Battlelog!
