Just got my invite yesterday but I'm not even going to bother. It ends tomorrow and I don't really care for MP anyway....

Tomrrow, hmm well that sucks. Though I know what bugged me the most was the slight glitches and invisible walls. Sometimes the chat wouldn't work for me or the squad spawning is down.

I repeat, the alpha is for TESTING BUGS and PERFORMANCE of the SERVERS. It's right there on their website in black and white. It doesn't say in the survey "how do you feel about the spotting feature?" it says "ho much cover in in the maps? Did you notice the heal marker abt one. I hope to dear god they don't on this one.

Also, no, the video breaches the NDA and I hope the uploader/crteator is slammed hard for it.

I've been playing the alpha for a few days now and I'm LOVING it. I've been reporting bugs and errors like crazy and generally helping out. Maybe that's because I've been able to divert most of my attention towards finding bugs and enjoying the game instead of crying hard about the "feature".
Plz go to page 51 of this thread and watch the video, then ull know why peoples complain about the spotting, i dont even feel the need to explain too much just watch that video and tell us what you think. Not because something is ok in a game mean its okay for another game.

You don't say?

Destruction in Frostbite 1.5 was high. I guess that means that it has to be the exact same for Frostbite 2.0 as well? Or maybe it should be tweaked to suit BF3 given the fact that BF3 is a different game to BC2? Lets ask DICE.

Grenade spam was in BF2. By your logic, anyone who complains about grenade spam in BF3 (if it becomes popular) is simply a whiner because it was present in BF2......is that really even logic?

Regardless, if you actually read the guys post you'd see that what you just typed is pretty much meaningless, given the fact that he blatantly acknowledged its existence in another game (which is obviously BC2) in his last sentence.

Source?

Proof?

This "bug" you speak of has been a "feature" of BC2 since launch.

I seriously have no problem with BC2. I Also have not experienced the grenade spam you talk about

About spotting all I am saying is why complain about it now?

If you haven't experienced grenade spam in BF2, I'm probably talking to the wrong person tbh.

If you were around the Battlefield community for any period of time, you'd see that people have been complaining about this exact same problem of being able to fire at some random triangle in a random direction and get kills since BC2 released.

Noone is "just" complaining about it now.

They're just annoyed that the same problem highlighted in the video has not yet been addressed and has been implemented into a completely new game.

I dont believe that you should be able to camp in a bush you cant even see out of, fire at orange triangles and get kills/suppression points/etc.

If you think about it, I dont think you'd agree with that either if you're 100% honest with yourself.

All these guys are doing, is bringing it to the attention of DICE and campaigning for a better implementation or removal of the ability to exploit the system in that manner.
