Screen freezes in middle of games? :/

Hello, I recently bought and built my first gaming computer, and I thought all was going well until I started freezing...

When it happens: It seems it only really happens when i'm on a game, (the only game I've downloaded thus far is World of Warcraft), I'll be randomly playing and everything will freeze, and any sound will be repeating. (which can be slightly funny because of vent if it were not the fact that my computer is crashing..)

It varies when it freezes, as I can play an hour or so without interuption, or it might crash 15 mins into a session. I've left the game on while being AFK, and I didn't seem to crash after a couple of hours.

I'm not sure what the problem is, or how to fix it, so I came here in hopes of helping hands

My rig:
Mobo: Asus P8p67 pro
CPU: i5 2500k
GPU: EVGA GTX560 TI fermi Superclocked
RAM: 8gigs of Ripjaw 1600 ddr3
Heatsink: Hyper 212+
PSU: 650w corsair TX

I'm pretty sure all the drivers are up to date.

I tried running Prime95, but it freezes within three or four minutes.

I'm really freaking out, so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ohh, and also, nothing is overclocked, it's all stock.

EDIT:

Red alert, red alert..

Now i'm REALLY freaking out. I'm on my friends laptop.

The Memory test went through without a hitch. It passed just fine after 30 or so minutes.

But... alas... Now the computer will freeze without even an application open. I can't stay on the computer for more than four or five minutes without it freezing. It's really freaking me out. I have no idea what's going on. My friend said it could be my HDD, because that's where my OS is coming from.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks in advance

EDIT 2:

Okay..

So I've bought a new hard drive, and I'm still freezing...

This time around, I've had the task manager up, so I can see the CPU performance. I thought maybe I was freezing when it hit 100%, and that there was something wrong with the cpu, but in the two times i've froze in the last hour and a half, I've been below 62% CPU Usage.

I'm really getting discouraged over here, just went out and bought the HDD thinking it would remedy the problem, and to no avail. If anyone has any idea what's wrong, please don't hesitate to ask a question or anything.. I'm running low on hope now :/

Make sure your RAM is set to the appropriate settings for your sticks and run Memtest86+

Check all your temps, gpu and CPU ( with stress testing, Prime 95 and/or furmark ) if not a problem, try one ramstick at a time.

Edit: beers is thread ninja for crashing computer posts.

Are you like one of those remote techsupport people with everything ready for copy/paste?

another edit. i had to try so fast i failed at tossing memtest up there and said one ramstick at a time. lost race.

My temps seem to be fine, from realtemp, my CPU is chillin' at 34C. Like I said, In Prime95, my PC freezes minutes(if not less...) into stressing.

I'm at the gym, so this is to be continued soon as I step foot home, but from my symptoms it would seem that its an issue with the ram? That's reassuring. :]
