nvlddmkm.sys BSOD XFX GTX 295

Greetings Overclock.Net

I've searched long and hard all over Google and what not and I have had it with this problem and it's driving me CRAZY.

Currently, my system is listed below, and I had a bios update, than reformat recently. When I was installing graphics drivers, I attempted to install the latest nVidia drivers, the 275.33.

However, every time I install that driver, and restart the computer after the install, it BSODs within seconds of hitting the login screen.

nvlddmkm.sys BSOD. Also, I don't think this BSOD will stop for me to copy all the code, as it initiates a memory dump with a percentage than restarts the computer.

Does anyone have any idea if this is related to the GTX 295 specifically? I've seen other people complain and all they do is roll back to a certain driver, for me I'm running a 266.58 driver and I need to update for my BF3 alpha test, as the latest drivers support SLI for the game and prevents it from crashing.

I believe I have tried the uninstall driver, than run a driver-cleaner,

Any ideas? I really need the newest drivers

Thanks

Use other 27x.xx drivers and see if those work.

I have tried that, and I think they do work, but the problem is that I run a 4-monitor setup, consisting of a GTX 295 and a 9400GT.

When using the oldest certified 27x.xx drivers, when I boot up, 2 of my 4 monitors (the GTX 295) are on and they work, but I always have to enable, than disable my 9400 GT to get the two other monitors working and it is quite annoying.

Ah I see. Are you willing to try 266.58 or 267.24 drivers?

Here is a link for them.

Have you tried not installing nvidia drivers for the 9400gt and letting Windows install the standard VGA drivers?

Yes, when Windows automatically installs drivers, I think they are 25x.xx

No, the issue is, I'm pretty sure I need the latest drivers.

Currently I'm running 266.58, but I need the newer drivers. It's not that I cannot get the computer to run with 4 monitors, I can and I am doing it now, it's when I install the new drivers, it BSODs.

Hmmm. I guess the only thing I can think of is either:

Try the beta drivers and see if those work

or

Wait it out till nvidia releases new drivers. Or just stick with the 266.58 and still play. With your 295 i'm sure you'll still pull good FPS.
