Max cost:1000$ before tax
CPU: i5 +
GPU: Ability to play GW2 or SC2 at a high would be nice.
Size: 15.6
HD: 500GB min, 7200 rpm would be nice
Screen: full hd would be also nice (:

I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me. I've been searching around but I would like an opinion from experienced users. I heard asus was a really good brand to go buy, and to stay away from dell.

I've asked around at local computer stores and they all had mixed opinions based on the products they were selling.

What do you guys recommend?
Or a good website to check out?
I only canadcomputers, newegg, and tiger direct.

I would say configure a llano laptop like this one.

http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh.../dv6zqe_series

Go for A8 and 1gb graphics card for some crossfire action.

Some. They've improved on them now. But a few years ago Nvidia screwed them over big time and thats how they got the reputation of being garbage.

I recommend ASUS.
