Would you trust B-Stock products? - Page 2

I would. If it makes it past the 90 days (stock clocks), then it should be good. It isn't any different trying to re-sell them since the warranty isn't transferable anyway.

If they won't allow you to buy one, I'm with some other posters here. Why only a 90 day warranty?

Cause they gotta make money, these cards aren't brand new, and could die within' months. Granted, anything could die whenever but these have more of a 'risk' thus, the limited warranty.

The 90 warranty is why they are so cheap. Think about it, if you pay $370 for a 580 and 3 months later it dies well your out $370 dollars and they dont have to replace it. It cant be cheap to dish out replacements for cards with lifetime warranty. If you want a full warranty buy a new product or an Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI off the marketplace. Im willing to bet alot of those cards are "Step-Up" or refurbished cards. They have to find a way to unload all those step-up cards since its illegal to sell a used product as new. Personally I wouldnt buy it unless it was for $150 or under, that way I wouldn't lose to much if the card died in 3 months.

I might if it is something under $100, but no way I would buy a card like a 580. There is too much money in the line with only 3 months of warranty. You might be able to buy square trade warranty as refubrished?

I gotta agree. If this were a face to face sale the conversation might go something like this.

"Psst...I have this B-Stock *insert computer part* I can sell you for real cheap! You will save a lot of money!", said the salesman as he opens his trench coat and points at merchandise hanging from the inside of the coat.

"Let me get this straight you had so many *part*s break that you can offer me a discount on a repaired broken part. Add to that you have so much faith in your ability to repair said broken *part* that your offering 1/16 of the normal warranty? Sounds like you have a design flaw and your trying to unload your shoddy wares under the guise that you are saving money. Saving money is when you put it in the bank not when you spend it! Begone you silver tongued charlatan!"

yes ive bought a mobo off there for a back up comp and it is still working 100% a year and half later!

I wouldn't be comfortable with 90 days warranty personally. Anything can happen after 90 days. I wouldn't spend more than $100 for refurb.

I would simply because if they're dodgy, it'll show within 30 days in some form.

Man, It's so temping to go tri-sli with them 570s for so cheap. I'd just fold on it for the first week to see if anything happens.
