Why did you choose the older P67 chipset over the newer Z68?

Z68 offers unlocked onboard GPU, quick sync, SSD caching, some offers onboard graphics input some does not.
If you need none of that go with the P67

Excellent motherboard ... I own it myself =) ... i got 4.5ghz on my i5-2500k using Antec 620

but yes H50 is the past...if you going spend that much for it...you might as well look for the other options people have posted here.

Wow thats a lot for an H50... Im pretty sure I saw it for $70 at best buy last time I was there, which was a few months ago. You might as well get a top of the line air cooler for that price.

If you buy into the future proofing idea you can buy a GEN3 motherboard which offers PCI-e 3.0 ....which is about the only future proofing I would consider.

Congrats.

I can almost push the PURCHASE button I just need to clear it with the bank hopefully they wont mind a slight over charge since its been holidays though they know a paycheck is incoming
