Hey, I just wanted to point out that I did some digging, and the wing-12PL's are supposed to have better static pressure than the wing-12's. Not to mention the fact that they are PWM, which is a help. If your not fond of the LED's, you should be able to just remove them, they appear to operate on the same design as the CM R4 (more or less), and I have removed/changed LEDs in those before. I am thinking of pickiung one up just to mess around with. I will let you know what I find out.

Okay, thanks a lot for your help! I might just get those and remove the LED's, or possibly a new fan might come out within the next couple of months.

Always a possibility. There is a chance that I might grab one of each, WING-12 and WING-12PL tomorrow and do a quick comparison. I will let you know if I get around to it (If you haven't ordered them already.)

I may end up using these in my setup, and I plan on going with an RX rad like you are, so I'd like to know how they work with the rad.

Anywho, if I get to compare the two I will check temps on my CPU with each on on the sink to confirm CFM/Static pressure results and compare noise as well. Then I will verify the LED removal and let you know how it goes.

PS - I think you should get a different mobo. Im thinking one with more SATA ports. ROFL.

EDIT: It might be polite to provide a link to hafEnvy's build log in the credit for the pic. Also convenient for people checking out your thread who see the pic and want to see more. /2c
