i don't care about noise if i have to I'll run the fan on 100% 24/7 like i did on my 8800 till i got this cooler.
May wanna re think that the 4 series nvidea cards at full fan speeds on stock cooling are unbearably loud but you wont need to worry they are designed so they will run on stock cooling and be very much at safe temps becasuse if they didn't that would be a massive design flaw. But yea unless you are deaf you wont want to run it on 100% fan speed

My AC is broken and 90s F is common where I live, going into the 100s a few times. My card has topped out about 62C I believe was the highest I saw. That is with the MSI Cyclone version. During the winter it would be at around 47C during loads. This was with a mild OC.

i left my OCd 460 on auto fans for the longest time and i rarely, if ever heard them.
my temps also never broke low 60s while gaming, and 70-72 OCCT.

850core/1950memory

the reference cooler is more than adequate

does the 460 even need one? i have plenty of ramsinks and i have a VRM cooler(bought directly from EVGA) is an aftermarket cooler really needed to keep temps under 65C under load? i will be buying the External Exhaust version from EVGA.

what i mean is will it eventually die from the heat like the 8800/9800 series cards?(poor solder under the GPU)
The 8 and 9 series had a design flaw.

My 470 hits 70c with fan at 60%. It's a bit loud but endurable, and the temps are ok for me.
