I just picked up my 3DS about a week ago with OOT 3D and Pilot Wings and so far I like it quite abit but I can live w/o the 3D business. It's ok but I got over it quite quick. The viewing angle drives me nuts and TBH I can see why they aren't selling all that well at its current price point. If I had it to do over I wouldn't have paid over $150 for one. Still, im not sure the 3DS will do for Nintendo what the rest of their handhelds have done but it won't do terrible either at a lower price im sure

I really don't know why people say that it causes headaches, I've had mine for about a month now and I have never had one caused by it. Although, showing it to my family, half of them couldn't stand it, but then of the ones that couldn't the only one that didn't adjust to it was my mother, and she cant even focus on a screen in a car. I suppose it depends on the person.

Also in my Opinion, I know a lot of people will be hyped about the eventual redesign of it, 3DSi or 3DS Lite or whatever it may be:
1) I realllllly don't think it will happen for a long, long time.
2) When it does eventually occur, I seriously doubt it will be more than more battery life, again in my opinion, Nintendo has come to the point where they know what works for the DS and what doesn't they aren't going to be any radical redesigns for the 3DS like there was for the DS, I really do not even think they will make a XL version. I could be completely wrong, but I really don't think Nintendo is going to change much with the 3DS between models other than tweaking the insides to fit a bigger battery.

That's great. Whatever makes it more viable in the long run so when I get around to it it's chock-full of good games exclusive to the system.

I really got into portable gaming late last gen and I still got a huge backlog on the PSP/DSi so I'm in no rush to jump in into this current gen anytime soon.

So after hearing about the price drop, I gave in and got a cosmo black 3ds for $169.98 from Best Buy today. So now I can take part of the ambassador program for the 20 free games. I was told from the employee that that price isnt supposed to start till Aug 12. Then I was ok no prob I'll just go back to costco and buy it from them at that price. But then I was given a few options from Best Buy. Buy it today at full price ($249.99) and come back Friday and get the price difference and get a FREE rocketfish startup kit or they will price match and get it for $169.99. I wanted a case for it anyways so I said fine I'll buy it at full price and be back Friday. Tolled the guy to put that in writing with his employee ID. So I go to check out, the check out system is giving him issue giving his issues trying to give me that free startup kit. So not only on the spot get it for $169.98, no need to come back Friday, I also get the free startup kit and 2 yrs extended warranty for my trouble
