Arguably tied with the Thermalright Silver Arrow. But, some would say the SA is slightly better.

Still, both top end air coolers, you'd have no regrets with either/or.

(Had the Silver Arrow, awesome cooler, was just a bit too tall for my case)

Thermalright Silver Arrow but some people have gotten better temps with the D14s after comparing them to the SA. Some reviews of the Thermalright Archon like the one at Xbitlabs have results saying the Archon performed on par with the silver arrow with one fan when the silver arrow had 2 and surpassed it with 2 fans yet other reviews have results where the Archon is behind the SA in performance. Simply put, results may vary.

So i would be well served with both? Price is all it matters between these two. Right now the cheapest in my local store is the Silver Arrow. I might take a look.
