Water cooling or another video card

Dont know if this is the right section but, I was need help on what to buy next my rig is in my sig. I was looking at the rasa 240 water cooling kit for my cpu. But i keep thinking how many more ghz can i get from watercooling.

Or i buy another gtx 460 or maybe a 5series or a 6950 or 70 and upgrade my video. I want the watercooling but i want it for no other reason than its just cool. So a little input would help.

My monitor is only a 19 in widescreen max res 1400x900 i think. And i plan on playing bf3,and swtor if that helps.

what are your temps like with that phenom at 4GHz??
what BIOS are you using and what do you have your clock settings at that you aren't concerned with overheating?

Watercooling and graphics cards are different kinds of fun and I don't think they're easily comparable. The watercooling loop won't amount to much performance benefit, especially in games where the GPU matters more, but setting up that loop and learning new stuff may prove more interesting than simply doubling the framerate.
Then again, now you have a small 19" monitor that is well covered by the GTX 460, but at some point you will get some 1900x1200 27"er and then you'll wish for a better card.

The choice is pretty simple though if you don't intend on getting a replacement monitor soon - get the water loop; if you do get a new monitor then a 6950 2GB may be the better buy.

I am in the same situation as you, but at my current clocks I have no NEED for water cooling, well REAL water cooling. It is cool, but it isn't going to benefit me I don't think. My prime95 core temps don't exceed 48c. My IBT core temps don't exceed 52. Bios volts set at 1.46- HWmonitor shows 1.48-1.5

I think I am going to go for the video card update next. I would do the same if I were you...you can buy a wc setup in pieces...can't buy a video card in pieces.
