So this morning I was connecting external SATA back up drives back to my main rig after I was done with cleaning and there was a spark, I guess it was caused by static electricity after all the brushing, blowing and vacuuming. It was right between the SATA connector and a port. Long story short, later on when I had to use Windows Image Restore I got a CRC error, CRC 0x80070017, and the problem ended up being not with the external drive, but with the internal one. So that just left me completely confused. Windows no longer booted and all external back up drives just gave me the same error. Later on I used Windows repair and Image Restore somehow magically started working again. So now everything works perfectly fine again, but this whole thing just left me confused as to wth actually even happened. Somehow static electricity temporarily messed up my drives.
